A foundation was in need of some support in Highland, IL, so the GeoLock Wall Anchor System was installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!

This Percy, Illinois basement had water problems.  The soil around the foundation held too much water, causing the soil to swell. The walls then bowed, and water to seeped in.  Woods installed wall anchors and the WaterGuard basement waterproofing system to solve the problem.

Design specialist Brandon B. assessed the problem and decided that Smart Jacks in the crawl space would fix the homeowner's issues. Foreman James L. then headed to the home to get the job started.

Smart Jacks, pictured above, are attached to the floor joists above the crawl space. Once the posts are installed, they are adjusted to help raise and level the floors. The Smart Jacks can be adjusted anytime necessary to help level the home.

Bob J. no longer has to worry about his home's floors being uneven or sagging. His home now has stable and level floors.

A crawlspace in Chatham, IL was not being supported correctly, causing cracks to appear in the concrete. Woods installed the SmartJack System in the crawlspace to stabilize the beams and floor joists. These will lift the floors above the crawl space back toward their original elevation and reduce floor bounce caused by weakened floor joists or excessive spans.
