CleanSpace Installation in Westwood, MO
Judy P. of Westwood, Missouri discovered water was collecting in her home's crawl space every time it stormed. She knew standing water could cause mold growth and rotting, so she called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist John S. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartPipe drainage system, a SmartSump sump pump, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Foreman Brett J. then head to the home to get the job started.
The CleanSpace encapsulation system, pictured above, is a durable liner that was placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains leaks that may occur behind it.
Judy P. no longer has to worry about her home's crawl space flooding after big storms. Her home now has a waterproof and dry crawl space.
Incapsulating a Crawlspace
Dirt crawlspaces can cause a multitude of problems for houses. The dirt can not only get the crawlspace muddy and gross, but it can allow water vapor to rise from beneath the home and saturate the wooden floor joists that make up the ceiling of the crawlspace. This can cause water damage and support mold growth. Plus the dirt floor gives bugs and rodents access to the bottom of your home, the perfect place for them to make their home!
Just one solution can solve all these problems; CleanSpace™. CleanSpace™ is a vapor barrier made of a tough, tear-proof lining that can block water vapor from below as well as leaks from the crawlspace walls. The bottom side of the liner is also anti-microbial, meaning it is mold resistant and can block mold spores from entering the crawlspace and growing new mold. The crawlspace is incapsulated with CleanSpace™, leaving no gaps or cracks for water vapor to flow inside and harm the home. As a bonus, the crawlspace can be insulated, lowering the cost of heating and cooling and keeping the home comfortable year round.
CleanSpace™ can seal away the dirt and water vapor in the crawlspace, sealing away the problems that come with it. Not only that, but it can lower the cost of heating and cooling year-round.

Damp and Uninsulated Crawlspace Repaired in Saint Louis, MO
A crawlspace was not insulated properly in Saint Louis, MO, and moisture was entering it and causing mold to grow. To solve these issues, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will stay warm and dry for years to come!
Encapsualting A Crawlspace In Frontenac, MO
A crawlspace in Frontenac, Missouri, wasn't properly insulated and had a damp environment. To solve this issue, Woods came out and first installed the SilverGlo System. These waterproof panels will act as a vapor barrier to protect the crawlspace from humidity and water. They also reflect light back into the crawlspace, helping to maintain a steady temperature. The next install was the CleanSpace System. This also acts as a vapor barrier, while also providing durable protection from insects, mold, and the elements. The sheet of material is directly attached to the walls and floor and seals off the crawlspace from the earth below it. With these installs in place, this crawlspace will be sealed and protected for years to come.
