In the before photo from our recent project in Bethel, ME, water was seeping through the floor, threatening the integrity of the finished basement. To resolve this, our team at TC Hafford Basement Systems installed the reliable BrightWall system, TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard drainage system. As you can see in the after photo, these products work together to effectively channel water away from the foundation, preventing further issues. This combination ensures the basement remains dry year-round. Homeowners can now use the space with confidence, knowing it is protected from future water damage.

Bethel, ME homeowners experienced a wet basement every time it rained, and had concerns over a crack in their foundation wall. They called TC Hafford Basement Systems for a free estimate to waterproof their basement. We first installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is a drainage system that collects water and channels it directly to the TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe then pumps water away from the home out through an exterior buried discharge line. Finally, BrightWall was added to the basement walls as a vapor barrier. It is durable, easy to clean, and never discolors, giving the basement a fresh, bright appearance. 

The Bethel Town Office building had water intrusion issues, causing mold in their basement. They contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems to help waterproof the basement. We poured a brand new slab floor, complete with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system to capture any incoming water. A TripleSafe sump pump was installed and connected to the WaterGuard so any water would be channeled directly to the TripleSafe to be pumped away from the building. The TripleSafe sump pump is the top of the line pump system that has an extra pump and a battery back up to protect against pump failure and power loss. We also installed CleanSpace Wall System on the basement walls to serve as a vapor barrier, sealing moisture out and directing any water behind the CleanSpace liner directly to the WaterGuard drain.

Wanting to cure their humidity and puddle problems in their basement, this Seabrook, NH homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. System Design Specialist Rick Russell drove out to meet with the homeowner for a free estimate and worked with them to design a system that would meet their needs and protect the health of their home.

Replacing the old sump pump was a must for the customer to make sure water would be pumped out of the basement before it had a chance to form any puddles. A SuperSump was installed in place of the old sump and connected to a Buried Exterior Discharge line that takes the water far from the home where it won’t cause any problems. IceGuard was installed on the Discharge line to prevent ice from building up during the cold winter months, ensuring that the system will run smoothly year-round. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the basement to keep humidity at a safe level, preventing mold, musty odors, and keeping the space safe for storage. Now this Seabrook, NH home is protected, and the homeowner can use their basement to its fullest potential.

Homeowners were looking for a more permanent solution for a small dirt crawlspace covered by a tarp. They dealt with a lot of moisture in the crawl space and they knew it was effecting the overall health of their home. TC Hafford came in and installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a specially designed liner that keeps out pests, humidity, and most importantly moisture.
