Worried about the supports under their floors, this Sangerville, ME, homeowner wanted to address the issue quickly since this would be their forever home. System Design Specialist Stacy Hafford met with the homeowner and worked with them to design a system that would meet both the homeowner's expectations and the needs of the home, ensuring it would be safe and healthy. New Supplemental Beams were installed, and six SmartJacks were attached. SmartJacks supports can correct problems such as sloping floors, overly springy floors, and out-of-level door frames. SmartJacks are designed to be adjustable over time, providing additional straightening and leveling as necessary. The homeowner is now set up to be worry-free knowing that their home is safe and healthy.

We installed CleanSpace drainage matting on the floor to create a durable base that allows water to flow underneath, directing it away from the basement. The vapor barrier was then installed over it to seal the area, preventing moisture and humidity from seeping through, ensuring a dry and protected basement and foundation. 

StableLock was installed over the rocky wall in the customer's basement to ensure a secure and stable foundation for the system. The rocky surface required a reliable solution to prevent shifting or instability over time, and StableLock provided the necessary durability and support.

Homeowners in Thorndike, Maine had a large foundation wall crack that was allowing water to seep in, and causing them to worry about the structural integrity of the wall. We installed our patented StableLock Wall system to keep the home secure. StableLock Wall has specialized bracing that supports the home. We then pour a new concrete wall around the bracing, and abutting the failing wall. The new wall prevents the original wall from shifting any further without having to excavate, or lift the home. 

We installed SmartJacks in this Warren, Maine crawl space that had weakened from moisture problems. When the wooden support beams and joists are exposed to moisture, they will weaken over time, causing the floors to sag. SmartJacks are galvanized steel posts that will not rust, and are custom fit to the space. They provide added stabilization to the home, and can even be adjusted to lift and level the floors back to their original position.
