Cory and his wife transformed their dark, outdated basement into a safe and comfortable living space for their son and a quiet home office. We installed two egress windows with stone escape wells and lids, bringing in natural light and meeting safety code requirements. The family was thrilled with the results - and grateful for the extra care we took to help restore their yard.

Keyante and Charlotte wanted to make their basement into a guest bedroom. In order to do this they needed us to install an egress window and well. Egress windows and wells provide a safe exit in case of emergency so they are required in finished basement living areas. Also, most windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home due to poor insulation around the window. However, egress windows will help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house. In addition, these windows provide lots of natural light.

Richard realized the water from outside was leaking into his crawl space and causing a nasty smell upstairs. He knew his old sump pump must have failed, so he called Ayers for help. Our team stopped by his house and suggested the SmartSump pump. This system is designed specifically for small spaces and includes WaterWatch, the alarm system intended to alert the homeowner when water leaks past the sensor. Richard loves having a dry crawl space!

Kathleen and Larry had water coming into their basement through their walls and floors so they called our team for help. We installed TripleSafe, a sump pump system that’s main goal is to keep your basement dry. This system provides ultimate protection because it has three pumps in order to handle your highest pumping demands. In addition, it has a battery powered pump so that the system continues to work even during power outages. 

This crawl space was problematic for several reasons: the dirt floor (which naturally contains water) was evaporating moisture in the space, and the block walls also readily let in moisture and air through the joints. THe moisture in the space took a toll on the insulation causing it to hang in many areas. Encapsulating the space with CleanSpace was the best option to not only eliminate moisture, but brighten up the space.

CleanSpace is a durable liner made of cord reinforced polyester, also manufactured with an antimicrobial additive. It’s installed on the floor and the walls to seal off the space from the earth, and provides a barrier to water vapor and prevents the growth of mold. Coupled with spray foam insulation to seal smaller spaces, CleanSpace transforms this crawl space into a dry, bright, and usable space.
