Beth was looking into getting a replacement for the ugly, small window she had for her basement. She saw that Ayers sells bigger, more attractive windows and decided she would give us a try! She then decided on our Egress Windows after hearing from our professionals. 

Our Egress Windows are larger and waterproof. They will let in more natural light and circulate more fresh air into the space. They help give your basement a more finished look, especially for when you have guests over for entertainment. These windows include a well with a step in it which provides a safe exit in the event an emergency occurs and you need to get out fast.

Water was entering Lindsey and Randy’s basement through their walls. After they called our team, we installed BrightWall. Brightwall is made of white, plastic panels that provide a waterproof and stain-resistant surface. Acting as a vapor barrier, BrightWall keeps water from seeping through cracks in your basement walls. Lastly, these walls will help brighten your basement and never need painted or any other maintenance.

We've been told time and time again by building codes and officials that crawl spaces have to be vented, but why? If light can get into your crawl space so can air. Vents let in hot air in the summer, cold air in the winter and they can let water in too. These air can cause your utility bills to be more expensive than they need to be and that moisture can cause mold and no one wants that. 

We offer crawl space vent covers that work great to solve all of these issues. Our vents permanently seal the openings so no unwanted outside elements get into your crawl space. They come in black, gray and red to match almost any home. 

With the concrete moved away, the WaterGuard set in and the drainage stone laid down, the final step is to cover the system with a new layer of cement. The cement will cure and the basement will look good as new, but with one difference: no more unwanted water.

The before photo shows one of the multiple large cracks in the storage area of this basement. All of the cracks reached from the floor to ceiling, so the owner naturally related the moisture presence in the basement to the leaks. In the after photo, you can see the solution to the cracks. The crew needed to cover 3 different cracks with the FlexiSpan System. FlexiSpan is a two-layer polymer that will plug the leaks and provide a route for any seepage that does occur. The final destination for that seepage is also seen in the after photo. Below the freshly poured concrete rests a drain well that will escort water permanently out of the basement.
