Before the steel support beams and SmartJack system in the after photo were added into this crawl space, the floor above had been sagging in several different places. As you can see, the owners had been using cinderblocks to boost up the floor joists. The SmartJack system in the after photo is a much better solution, as the jacks can be raised to whatever height necessary. Not only that, the SmartJack system also includes steel beams that will allow each SmartJack to support large areas of the floor joists.
