To resolve the issues, they encapsulated the crawlspace using a CleanSpace vapor barrier system, which covers the floor and walls to prevent moisture from entering. The joists and ducts were insulated correctly, and SmartJacks were installed for additional foundation support. The space also had a sump pump to manage water and a dehumidifier to control humidity levels. This setup significantly improved the insulation and moisture control in the crawlspace.
