This Midland, MI, crawl space had extensive water damage. The homeowner attempted to create a water barrier using plastic tarp but it was ineffective. As you can see on the right, we installed a CleanSpace crawl space barrier on the walls and floor together with a TripleSafe sump pump to dispel any water from the crawl space. 

Looking at the before picture of this crawl space you can almost feel how damp it is. While there was a liner in place, it wasn’t sealed at the perimeter of the walls allowing water to accumulate underneath and on top of the liner. This standing water caused the crawl space to be damp and a breeding ground for mold.

Our team upgraded this crawl space’s current liner to CleanSpace. Made of 2 layers of polyester cord reinforcement, this liner installed on the floors and walls it stays where it’s installed and can even be walked on. CleanSpace provides a barrier to moisture, allowing the water behind the liner to drain to the sump pump. Not only the does the liner transform the look of the crawl space, but it keeps it dry so the crawl space is can be a usable space! 

Isaac noticed the floor of his crawl space was allowing water to seep through. He didn't know how to fix it, so he gave Ayers a call. Our team went to assess the issue and make a recommendation. CleanSpace is a 20-mil thick plastic liner that fits into the crawl space, completely sealing the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for durability to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold.
