A homeowner in Cologne, MN, found that water was seeping between the cracks of their blocks in the basement. Concerned by this finding, the homeowner searched for the best waterproofing company in their area. After hearing positive reviews from their neighbors, the homeowner decided to sign up for American Waterworks' FREE estimate. After finalizing the appointment, one of our Design Specialists, Eric, traveled to the home to inspect the possible damages. After his detailed investigation, Eric alerted the homeowners that their basement needed proper waterproofing. Eric provided a recommended solution to the homeowners to solve their water issues. Knowing this would be a long-term solution, the homeowners agreed to Eric's recommendations. 

Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew traveled to the home and began installing the recommended waterproofing products. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the majority of the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, a feedline was installed across the basement floors. Next, the crew installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump and IceGuard to tie into the existing system. The crew installed all the waterproofing products and left the basement nice and dry. The homeowners were thankful they had a proper waterproofing system installed in their basement. American Waterworks is pleased to assist another valued customer.

Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and drilled small holes through the wall which released the water that was built up. They laid the WaterGuard drainage system and installed the TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump system. The WaterGuard now properly guides water to the sump pump and the water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Lastly, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the basement from humidity and future mold growth. They replaced the concrete and the project was complete! Ken’s basement has been completely transformed to a dry, healthier space, and his peace of mind has been restored.

Carrie and Justin R. of Sebeka, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about their basement and other kinds of water damage. They heard about American Waterworks and got in contact with our office staff. We set them up with a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz. Ian went to their home, examined the problems, and came up with a solution that fit their needs. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the process by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier which is made to prevent any mold or humidity build-up, cover any holes or divots, and give the space a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, Corey and his crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump which is made to keep basements dry for long periods of time. To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Carrie and Justin were very happy with the repairs and had a great experience from start to finish!
