Jim got in contact with our Appointment Center here at American Waterworks and scheduled his FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Kyle H. Kyle headed out to Jim's property and began a thorough inspection of the home to obtain a proper diagnosis of the home and prevent any other issues from arising. Kyle proposed to Jim that the best solution to the issues he is experiencing is to invest in our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our Foreman and his team then arrived at the property and began the process by tearing out the pre-existing sump pump, the team then inserts a new sump basket that helps provide not only a cleaner look but protects the pumps from being damaged by soil. Once the new sump basket is installed the TripleSafe Sump Pumps are then installed and ready to go. Once the job is done the production team then places a new layer of concrete around the TripleSafe to provide a cleaner and more finishing look. A homeowner in Delano, MN, noticed their sump pump was beginning to make odd sounds. Concerned by this noise, the homeowner knew they needed a professional to inspect the sump pump. The homeowners were unsure who they should reach out to, so they began researching on the internet. One of the first companies to populate was us, American Waterworks. After the details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Dylan. Once Dylan arrived, he began his evaluation of the sump pump and basement. Following his inspection, Dylan determined that the sump pump needed to be replaced. Dylan recommended that the TripleSafe sump pump be installed, and the homeowners agreed. Dylan sent the drawn-up plans to the assigned crew and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Gustavo, and his crew arrived at the home. First, the crew removed the old sump pump from the home. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew put the TripleSafe sump pump into place. Then, the crew dug a buried discharge line outside the home. Finally, the crew installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. The crew wrapped up production and cleaned up their job site. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. This keeps the drainage system out of the “mud zone”, where drains can clog. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump system which is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The water now properly flows through the drainage system and is then discharged from the home through the sump pump. Bill is now enjoying a dry, healthier basement!

Our Foreman, Edgar, and his crew installed our sump pump by breaking out the concrete floor, forming a hole. To complete the project, the team covered the gaps with engineer fill, which prevents any soil from entering the Sump Basket and damaging the Pump System.
