A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, was in the middle of a basement renovation when he ripped out some drywall, exposing severe wall failure underneath. The homeowner was immediately uneasy about what this could mean for the home's structural integrity. He was unsure how to repair the foundation crack and decided to find a basement specialist to assist him. After seeing our website, he signed up for a FREE estimate and several weeks later, Adam V, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. 

When Adam arrived, he headed right down into the basement to see the extent of the damage.  When he finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendation. Adam began by explaining that foundation walls are designed to withstand pressure from above, not from the side. So when the side pressure on a wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, sliding in at the bottom, bowing, and/or tilting inward at the top. Adam could tell the homeowner seemed uneasy, so he reassured him that while the problem seemed daunting, the solution was fairly simple. Adam recommended our GeoLock wall anchors. These anchors work to counteract the pressure being put on the wall by anchoring the failing wall to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation, pulling the wall back into place. Adam finished by saying that, once installed, the anchors would be tightened down the road as the house continues to shift and settle. The homeowner was relieved that Adam could explain the problem, as well as a comprehensive solution, and decided to sign on the spot. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Matt Z, was able to lead his team through a flawless installation of 5 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement of the home. Now, our customer can continue on with his basement renovation, knowing the foundation of his home is in tip-top shape! 

A farmer in McIntire, IA, noticed their grain pit was uneven. Worried about the lasting effects, the homeowners knew they needed to find a solution. Hoping to avoid concrete replacement, the homeowner looked into alternative concrete repair methods. The homeowner looked into "concrete lifting near McIntire, IA" and came across our website. After taking a closer look at the services we provide, the homeowner knew we were the right choice for their project. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner waited for Nate, one of our Design Specialists, to arrive. Once Nate arrived at the home, he began his thorough investigation of the affected concrete. To stop the concrete from sinking further, Nate recommended lifting it with our PolyLevel solution. Once the homeowner learned about the PolyLevel installation process, they decided to go ahead with Nate's plan. Next, Nate passed the plans to our Logistics team to build the project. Our Logistics team built the project, scheduled it, and then assigned it to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. Patrick and his crew traveled to the home and began the PolyLevel installation. The crew lifted the entire grain pit back to its original level. Once all the products were installed, the crew was able to clean up their materials and leave the home. Roger R. of Middle River, MN had water leaking from his pre-existing sump pump, causing him to worry about water moisture and flooding in his basement. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team broke out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe is made with three levels of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Roger was happy with the work and had a great experience with our crew! 

Heather M. in Ionia, IA had a sump pump that was unable to keep up with the amount of water that needed to be discharged from her basement. Water had started pooling on her basement floor and she knew she needed to seek help from a professional waterproofing company before more damage occurred. Our team installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of her basement, which led to the new TripleSafe sump pump that we installed. The TripleSafe has three layers of protection, so Heather can rest easy knowing that her sump pump will not fail her this time. Once the water is guided to the sump pump, it is then pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our team also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier which protects the walls from water seeping in and the potential growth of mold. The combination of these waterproofing solutions ensure that Heather’s basement will now be a clean, dry and livable space for many years to come!
