A homeowner from Prior Lake, MN, was dealing with water intrusion in her basement. Not wanting the issue to get out of hand, she decided to begin the search for a company that could help fix the issue. On the recommendation from a friend, she decided to call American Waterworks and set up her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nick S, headed out to the home to assess the basement. 

Upon the completion of the assessment, Nick met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Nick explained to the homeowner that he wanted to combat the water in the basement with our WaterGuard. He elaborated, saying that our WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. Nick went on to say by installing the drain at this point, it's kept out of the "mud zone","the point where clogged drains are common. The unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard® also aid in preventing clogs in the system.The homeowner agreed with Nick's proposal and a the job was scheduled for a month later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Raul B, ended up installing 156 ft of our WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Now our customer can enjoy their basement without worries of water intrusion!

This Austin, MN homeowner contacted American Waterworks after noticing the north-side of his exterior foundation was crumbling and failing. Jim contacted American Waterworks for a free estimate in late July after seeing our concrete leveling commercials on TV.  He was interested in having about a 10 foot section of his driveway leveled, along with a section of sidewalk that had sunk near the entrance of his home. As you can see, American Waterworks was easily able to level the concrete slab using our trusted and affordable PolyLEVEL technology and prevent any further trip hazards from guests entering his home.

Jordan P in Austin, MN was suffering from water leaking into his basement during heavy rains. He wanted to have his basement repaired as soon as possible, so he started looking for a waterproofing contractor. Our production crew installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system into the concrete floor and connected it to a TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump. The TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection which includes a battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge. The water leaking into Jordan’s basement is now properly guided through the WaterGuard drainage system into the sump pump. From there, the water gets pushed through the discharge line to the outside of the home. Jordan is glad he chose a system that will protect his basement for the long-term.

A homeowner in Austin, MN had water leaking throughout their basement, causing them to worry about their basement during harsh weather conditions. They got in contact with our office line and got a FREE Estimate scheduled. Our Design Specialist went to their home, carefully examined the issues, and drew out a solution for them and their home repair needs. The homeowner was confident in the solution, so they signed the contract and moved forward with the installation. 

Our Foreman and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which prevents water and mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace prevents mold and humidity, and gives the basement a neat and clean appearance, while also keeping the basement warm. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which solves all three water problems in one unit, provides three layers of protection, and comes up with a battery back-up, in case of power failure. To complete the project, our team covered the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. The homeowner was ecstatic with the repairs and had a great experience with our team!
