Our stellar reviews and rating caught their eye, so the homeowner did further investigation into our company. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for theirs. After the appointment was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Dustin, one of our Design Specialists. Dustin arrived at the home and started inspecting the water damage. Dustin determined that the water was seeping at the bottom of the walls and required additional waterproofing. The homeowner agreed with Dustin's recommendations and the plans were sent to our Foreman, Kiko, and crew. Once Kiko and his crew arrived at the home, they prepared the home for the WaterGuard installation. The WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. As soon as the preparations were complete, the crew dug and placed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Additionally, the crew dug a feed line from the sump pump to tie it into the new WaterGuard system. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was safe and properly waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to assist another homeowner.

Wet Basement Walls In Kenyon, MN

There's no greater solution to a wet basement than a WaterGuard basement waterproofing system combined with a CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system as you will see in this before and after from another satisfied customer in Kenyon, MN.

One of the key ingredients in this project was the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting in through their foundation. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their Waterguard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump.
