Adam U. of New Hampton, IA had water coming into his basement, causing him to worry about water moisture and damage to property. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Brandon. Brandon went to his home, inspected his basement, and drew up some possible solutions that could fix his problems. Adam was confident in Brandon's solution, so he of our TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGaurd System, and CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier, so he signed Brandon's proposal and set up a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Raul B., and his production team began the project by cutting out the concrete floor perimeter, making a trench. Inside the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System. This special system collects water seepage from basement walls, prevents water and mud clogs, and serves as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is the best sump pump that we provide for homeowners. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of water protection and solves all three water problems in one unit. Lastly, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. This vapor barrier is made to prevent humidity and mold, guide water into the WaterGuard, and give the basement a bright and clean appearance. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. A homeowner in Grand Meadow, MN, noticed that his basement is experiencing moisture issues such as mold growth and efflorescence. Concerned for his home, he decided to search for "basement waterproofing experts in Grand Meadow, MN" and found a list of contractors. Mr Reker reached out to us in July with concerns from all the heaving, cracking and uneven concrete he was noticing around his property in Mantorville, MN.  

American Waterworks was able to design a comprehensive plan to permanently lift and stabilize the sinking concrete slabs with a high-density polyurethane formula called PolyLEVEL.

A homeowner from Mantorville, MN, was down in his basement one day when he noticed a damp patch of carpet by the baseboard of one of his walls. He recalled that his area had been hit by a storm recently, but grew concerned about rainwater entering his space. He immediately took to the internet to search for 'interior basement waterproofing near me', and quickly found our website. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, one of our Design Specialists was headed out to the home. 

Our Design Specialist got right to work assessing the basement. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. First, our Design Specialist recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This 100% waterproof tarp-like material gets installed directly onto unfinished basement walls. It works to trap water entering through small holes or cracks in the wall, directing it downward and into a perimeter drain, which in this case, was recommended to be our WaterGuard drain. This unique French drain gets installed below the concrete floor, atop the footing of the foundation, to keep it out of the 'mud zone' where other drains of its nature tend to clog. It works to collect the water entering from the CleanSpace, as well as water entering through holes in the floor, giving it a channel to flow freely to a disposal site like a sump pump or discharge line. Our Design Specialist had noted that the collected water had no means to exit the basement, so he recommended our SuperSump sump pump. This effective and economical pump is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump boasts a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner agreed with our Design Specialists recommendation and signed on the spot. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kiko, led his team through the successful installation of  4f6t of CleanSpace and WaterGuard, as well as 1 SuperSump sump pump. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his water intrusion worries have been put to an end!
