The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After their estimates were set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Nick. Once he arrived, Nick introduced himself to the homeowner and began inspecting the status of the sump pump. Nick wrapped up the inspection and determined that the sump pump needed to be replaced. Additionally, Nick recommended installing WaterGuard and attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. The homeowner agreed with Nick's suggestions and the plans were sent to the office for approval. Once they were approved, they were sent to our Foreman, Diego, and his crew. Diego and his crew started the project by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew dug channels and put the WaterGuard into place. Next, they secured the SuperSump+ into place and tied it to the WaterGuard system. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the walls. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. Russ went to Sam's house, inspected his basement window, and provided a quote going over our Egress Window. Our Foreman, Clay, and his crew excavated out the soil around the basement window, forming a big trench. Once the trench was formed, our crew broke out the wall to install the Egress Window. Our Egress Windows are made to add light and fresh air to the basement while providing a safe way to exit from the home. After that, our team installed our RockWell Window Well, which is a one-piece construction that allows for a safe exit out of the home in case of an emergency. To complete the project, our team backfilled the soil and ensured the yard was cleaner than when they first got there.

Marie of Anoka, MN, was beginning to notice that she was experiencing pooling water in the crawl space beneath her home. She wanted to know what could be done to fix the issue, so she gave us a call. When she got in contact with us, she used her FREE estimate with us to have our Design Specialist, Shane, out to her property to do a thorough inspection. When Shane completed, he was able to make a recommendation as to how American Waterworks could best help Marie. He suggested that we wrap the entire space in our CleanSpace to catch any water entering the space through cracks or porous holes in the walls of the space. Next, he wanted to use our drainage matting to ensure that any water would find its way to the appropriate disposal site. The raised dimples on this matting give the water flooding into the crawl space a natural channel underneath the crawl space liner that directs the water to a perimeter drain or sump pump. Marie agreed with Shane's recommendations and work began shortly after. Our Foreman, Chris, was able to make quick work of their installations. They ended up wrapping the basement in 460 sqft of CleanSpace and used another 260 sqft of our drainage matting on the floor of the crawl space. The crew finished the job by using our Spray Foam, a sprayable foam used to insulate the remaining cracks between the floor and ceiling joists.

Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe sump pump. After the TripleSafe was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew.
