Brian arrived at the home, ready to inspect the area and give the homeowner his recommendations for fixing the problem. There's no greater solution to a wet basement than a WaterGuard basement waterproofing system combined with a CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system as you will see in this before and after from another satisfied customer in Kenyon, MN.  

One of the key ingredients in this project was the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting in through their foundation. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their Waterguard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump.

Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, and then it was assigned to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. A few weeks later, Lane and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Lane and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump. After the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump. As soon as all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know they had one of the best sump pumps installed in their basement. Rick headed out to Cara's property and began a thorough inspection of the home to obtain a proper diagnosis of the home and prevent any other issues from arising. Rick proposed that the best solution to the issues she was experiencing was to invest in our WaterGuard and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Cara agreed with the proposal and scheduled the date of installation. 

Our Foreman, Crescencio, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls.

Next up was our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which has three levels of protection to solve all water problems a homeowner may experience. Along with the TripleSafe Sump Pump is a battery backup that helps in cases where power is lost in a home, the battery will keep the pumps draining any excess water build-up. Once the job is done, the production team then places a new layer of concrete around the TripleSafe to provide a cleaner and more finished look.

To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
