After Worthington, MN, was rocked with numerous storms in a short period, a homeowner went down to his basement and was shocked to find water entering the space through corners of his basement. He was concerned about what his findings could mean for the health of his home, so he decided to begin looking for interior waterproofing MN, and eventually found our website. After looking through our basement waterproofing before and after images, he signed up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, Lance S, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home to see what could be done. 

After Lance finished his thorough inspection, he was ready to meet with the customer to deliver his recommendations. Lance began by reassuring the homeowner that he had done the right thing by taking action as soon as possible. He then said he wanted to use two of our products to address the water intrusion. First, Lance wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This 100% waterproof plastic barrier gets installed directly onto the basement walls, and works to direct water entering through holes or cracks in the basement wall down and into a perimeter drain, which in this case, Lance had recommended to be our WaterGuard. The WaterGuard® System is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. By installing the drain at this point, it's kept out of the "mud zone", the point where clogged drains are common. The unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard® also aid in preventing clogs in the system. This drain works to collect the water draining down the wall from the CleanSpae, as well as the water entering through cracks or holes in the floor and gives it a channel to flow freely to a disposal site, such as a sump pump or discharge line. The homeowner liked the sound of the two products working together and decided to schedule the project for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Francisco, led his team through the installation. When they were finished, they had successfully installed 143 ft of WaterGuard and another 137ft of CleanSpace. Now, our customer can breathe easier knowing his water intrusion issues have been handled by professionals!

Alex J. of Westbrook, MN had water seeping into his basement from his floor cracks. He did some research online to see what companies performed work in basement waterproofing. He came across American Waterworks and called our office line to set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Alex was confident in Shane's proposal, so he went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by breaking out the basement floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed 158 feet of our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain and prevents water clogs. A homeowner from Westbrook, MN, was down in her basement one day when she noticed a steady stream of water coming through the baseboard of her unfinished basement. Several weeks later, our Foreman, Lane S, and his team effortlessly installed 106 ft of WaterGuard and 1 SuperSump plus sump pump in the basement of the space. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing that her basement will properly dispose of unwanted water! 

Water was leaking through the floor of Debbie and Pete K.'s cabin in Garrison, MN, causing them to worry about water damage. They went on HomeAdvisor and came across American Waterworks so they got a FREE Estimate scheduled with our Design Specialist, Shane. Our Foreman, Edgar, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. Our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System in the trench, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water leaks from basement walls. To complete the installation, Edgar and his team covered the open-floor gaps with river rock and pea gravel and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean.

A homeowner in Atwater, MN saw a commercial on television discussing the dangers of high radon levels. Concerned about the levels, the homeowner wanted to have their home tested. After hearing we completed radon testing, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once their estimate was finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Kevin, one of our Design Specialists. Kevin arrived at the home and began the radon testing. Following the test, the results were 8pCi/l, alarmingly high. After sharing these results with the homeowner, Kevin recommended that a radon mitigation system be installed on the home. The homeowner immediately agreed and the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew traveled to the home to install the radon mitigation system on the home. After reviewing Kevin's plans, the crew placed the radon mitigation system on the side on the west side of the home. Once the radon system was successfully installed on the side of the home, the crew cleaned up their materials and left.
