Sump Pump Saves Basement in Saint Paul, MN

A Saint Paul, MN, homeowner was facing a unique issue. Each time it rained, he could see water entering through a corner of his basement, creating a small puddle. The homeowner didn't want that small puddle to turn into a larger issue, so he decided to contact a reputable basement waterproofing company in MN. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our. Design Specialist, Derek V, headed out to the home.

When Derek arrived, he got right to work inspecting every inch of the basement. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Derek explained that water problems commonly occur in the corner of the room and that the homeowner was right to call when he did. Derek wanted to use two of our products to address the water intrusion. First, he recommended our WaterGuard drain, explaining that it's the most effective way to stop basement flooding. The WaterGuard is a French drain that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. Because of its placement, the drain stays out of the "mud zone" where other drains tend to clog. It works to catch water entering through the floor, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which Derek wanted to be our SuperSump plus. Our SuperSump sump pump is an effective and economical solution to combat water intrusion. It's engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. It boasts a powerful Zoeller 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of the two products working together, and decided to schedule her project for some time later.

When the day of the project rolled around, our team, led by their Foreman, Victor S, effortlessly installed 100ft of WaterGuard, and 1 SumpSump sump pump in the basement. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without worries that it will end up in his basement!

The homeowner began looking into "wet crawl space repair near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Jesse. A few weeks later, Jesse promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the crawl space. Jesse confirmed that the crawl space was suffering from water intrusion. To prevent this issue from worsening, Jesse recommended encapsulating the space. Knowing this was the best action plan, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Jesse's recommendations. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Jose, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Jose and his crew started by installing Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Basement Walls Gets Waterproofed in Maplewood, MN

A customer from Maplewood, MN, got in contact with us when he began to notice unwanted water on the floor of his basement. He was afraid that if he didn't take action and correct the issue, it would continue to damage his property, making any potential resale tough in the future. When he called in, our Appointment Center set him up with our FREE no-obligation estimate. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist headed out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could best help the situation. He began by explaining to the homeowner that the water was intruding through a crack in the wall. He wanted to address the issue by installing our WaterGuard french drainage system. He wanted to pair this product with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He explained that the CleanSpace vapor barrier is a tarp-like material that works to trap any water entering the property behind it, draining it down the plastic and into the WaterGuard drainage system that lies beneath the floor, catching the water driven downwards by the CleanSpace. The customer agreed and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew ended up installing a foot of WaterGuard and CleanSpace under and on top of the problem wall. When the work was completed our customer was happy to know he could go back to enjoying his basement, completely moisture free!
