Having a damp or wet basement can create more than just a headache. Problems like this can make bigger problems such as mold, rot, structural damage, and health problems. Some of the symptoms to keep an eye out for are wet basement floors, leaking basement walls, standing water, smelly odors, condensation, and sump pump problems.

A resident of Bayport, MN had similar problems with their situation. They had water seeping into their family room and they wanted to get it fixed up before it caused more damage. They had previous work done by American Waterworks and they had a good experience, so they worked with American Waterworks again. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house for a FREE estimate, carefully inspected their problems, and drew up a plan that would work for them and their needs. After a thorough conversation with our Design Specialist, the homeowner moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which prevents mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity and saves money on energy efficiency. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which provides three layers of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. The homeowner was thrilled with the work and had a wonderful experience from start to finish! 

The customer had water on the floor and wood paneling that was damaged from years of water damage. American Waterworks installed our patented waterproofing and wall system. 

A loyal client of American Waterworks contacted us for assistance in leveling off the concrete sidewalk leading up to the front porch of his home.  American Waterworks was able to lift and level the slabs with no trouble at all, using our patented PolyLEVEL concrete leveling solution.  For added protection and to prevent any further shifting, American Waterworks applied a joint sealant called Nexus Pro. 

Phillip W. in Red Wing, MN contacted American Waterworks after being referred by another contractor. He had water leaking into his basement through his foundation, and he was concerned about the health implications and damage it could cause. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to meet with him and propose a permanent solution for his home. Phillip was impressed with the products and design and moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Cory Sather, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to make a trench for our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. They finished the project by filling back the gaps with rock, replacing the concrete, and cleaning up their work area. Phillip was pleased with the results and hasn’t had a drop of water in his basement since the installation! 

A home in Red Wing, MN did not have a sump pump or any water lines. They worked with American Waterworks to get drain tile and a sump pump installed. Our crew of Tremaine, Josh, and Fredy installed our SuperSump Plus M53, which discharges the water out of the basement. The homeowner was very happy with the work that was done and was grateful we were able to help them with their home repair needs.
