A homeowner in Rochester, MN, had noticed that his basement was experiencing a moisture problem and was concerned it could worsen over time. He decided to look into basement waterproofing services in the area and came upon our website. He was impressed that we offer multiple award-winning products that can solve his issues. He contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate with one of our experts.

Our Design Specialist, Dylan W., arrived at the home and quickly inspected the basement. He tested the moisture levels in the basement and informed the homeowner that it was at a high level. He recommended having our Foamax installed on the wall to control the moisture levels. He explained to the homeowner that our Foamax is a polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back. The white finished face brightens the room, and the vapor barrier would help control the condensation, making a big difference in the temperature of the walls and eventually lowering the heating cost. The homeowner was thankful for Dylan's explanation and happily agreed to his suggestion.

Our Foreman, Diego B., and his crew arrived at the home in about two months for the installation and installed 64ft of Foamax. Now, our customer's basement issue has been fixed!

Dangerous Radon Levels Finds Solution in Fifty Lakes, MN

In Fifty Lakes, MN, a homeowner came upon an article that discusses the dangers radon poses in homes. Through the article, he learned that radon is a by-product of uranium, which can be found in soil. As uranium decays, it produces radium, which eventually turns into radon gas. Since uranium is in soil, it makes radon unavoidable. Worried that his family was breathing in the toxic fumes, he decided to look into services in the area. He came upon our website and was pleased to see our Before and After photos of our radon mitigation system. He quickly contacted us to claim his FREE estimate and scheduled an appointment with our Design Specialist.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, James N., arrived at the home to start the radon monitoring test. He set this test up in the lowest level of the home and explained to the homeowner that the test would need to run for at least 48 hours. James reassured the homeowner that his decision to have the home tested was good as we cannot see, touch, smell, taste, or hear radon. He further explained that we offer a radon mitigation system that uses a large-diameter plastic pipe that suctions out the air beneath your foundation and vents it outdoors. The homeowner was thankful for James's permanent solution to prevent dangerous radon levels in the future.

In about a week, the test results came back above 4 pCi/L, which is the Environmental Protection Agency's required action level for radon. The homeowner contacted us to schedule the installment of our radon mitigation system.

In a couple of weeks, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson P., arrived at the home for the installation. When he finished installing the system, the homeowner was relieved he no longer had to worry about breathing in the toxic fumes.
