Sump Pump Replacement Saves Arcadia, WI Basement

A homeowner from Arcadia, WI, was dealing with a sump pump issue. The homeowner's existing system was having trouble keeping up in times of heavy rain, which made the homeowner nervous because he knew that an outdated sump pump could lead to a flooded basement. He began to look for a local company who could help update his sump pump system, and quickly found American Waterworks. After watching our sump pump videos of our installations, he decided to claim his FREE, no-obligation estimate.

Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, headed out to the home. When Mac arrived, he completed a thorough inspection of the basement and met back with the homeowner when the evaluation was complete. Mac recommended our TripleSafe sump pump system to replace the outdated pump. Our TripleSafe is the most reliable sump pump in our lineup, as it boasts three levels of protection for both your basement's health and your peace of mind. In times of normal functioning, the TripleSafe has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower pump set at the lowest level. For times of heavy water, or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller 1/2 horsepower pump is set a bit higher in the liner to take over. The homeowner was thrilled with Mac's recommendation and signed for the job on the spot.

Several weeks later, our Foreman and his team placed the sump system in the basement with no issues. Now, our customer can head into Spring with confidence that his basement is properly defended against unwanted water!

Basement Waterproofed in De Soto, WI

Sue P. of De Soto, WI had severe water seepage in her basement, so she gave American Waterworks a call to see what we could do to help her. We sent out our Design Specialist, Eric Fox, for a Free Estimate to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough and detailed diagnosis, Sue was content with Eric's proposal, so she went ahead and got an installation date scheduled.

Our foreman, Crescencio Pena, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Next, they applied 182 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System around the basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace acts as a wall vapor barrier and prevents mold or humidity from invading the concrete walls. Then, our team applied 182 feet of stone thin concrete around the tops of the CleanSpace to make sure it was extra secure. Then, Crescencio and his crew installed 182 feet of WaterGuard in the broken-out concrete. Our WaterGuard acts as a drainage system; it prevents water clogs and collects the water waste from beneath the CleanSpace. To complete the basement, Crescencio and his team filled the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Sue was very pleased with the project, and was thankful we were able to help her save the life of her home!
