A homeowner in Brooten, MN, was prepping their home for the incoming winter seasons when they noticed a stairstep crack ascending their south basement wall. Uneasy about the discovery, the homeowner without hesitation searched for a company to fix this issue. The homeowners came across our website and signed up for a FREE estimate. We sent our Service Technician, Marc, to take a look at the wall and propose a solution to the homeowners. Marc determined that the south block wall would need to be stabilized with two PowerBraces and footings would need to be poured for each PowerBrace. Foreman, Juan, and his crew successfully positioned the PowerBraces underneath the stairs and inspected the crawl space. Our production crew drilled 3 small holes through the foundation wall and into the dirt behind it. Next, they placed anchors on each end of the metal rods and tightened them as far as they could go. A Hutchinson, MN, couple got in touch with us when they noticed that stair-step cracks were forming on their basement walls.
