A homeowner in Albany, MN, discovered a large horizontal crack along the west wall. Knowing that it was not a good sign, the homeowner looked for a second opinion. After hearing many positive reviews, the homeowner decided to work with American Waterworks. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After finalizing the appointment details, we sent out one of our Design Specialist, Ryan, to inspect the wall. The inspection concluded and Ryan discovered that the cause of the crack was due to the pressure of outside soil pressing on the wall. Ryan alerted the homeowners of the discovery and gave them his suggestions. After reviewing their options, the homeowners decide to utilize Ryan's suggestions. Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew traveled to the home and began repairs. First, the crew installed six Geo-Locks about five and a half feet apart. Once the Geo-Locks were put into place, the homeowners asked if a tightening kit was included. The crew showed the homeowners how to use the tightening kit and emphasized it would take some time. Once the crew finished, they cleaned the site and left the home. The homeowners were delighted that their wall was properly stabilized and would straighten with time. American Waterworks is happy to fulfill another customer's wishes.

Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing walls and provide the potential to straighten them over time. Over time, our PowerBraces can be tightened by the homeowner to ensure the walls are staying vertical. Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew drilled small holes through the failing block foundation and into the soil surrounding the home. They secured each end of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they would go. Wall anchors should be tightened over time to continue the process of straightening the damaged wall. Having wall anchors installed saved this foundation from failing completely and now Christina’s peace of mind is restored knowing her foundation is permanently stabilized.

Using wall anchors, our production crew drilled small holes through the failing block foundation and into the soil surrounding the home. In order to straighten the wall, they had to dig out the soil pushing against the foundation. They secured each end of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they would go. This process gradually straightened the foundation wall, and permanently secured it. Bill was pleased with the entire process and is glad he made the investment to restore the value of his home! 

Matt and Michelle W. of Easton, MN had cracked foundation walls in their basement so they called American Waterworks after being referred by another customer. Our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, came to their home for a FREE Estimate. After an in-depth inspection, Matt and Michelle were confident with Ben's proposal, so they followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Rene Hernandez, and his production team dug seven holes outside of the home and installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors. To do this, they inserted a long, medal rod in each hole from the outside soil to the inside foundation wall, and tightened an anchor on the ends of each rod. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors are designed to pull the walls back into their natural position. To complete the project, Rene and his team back filled the holes and replaced the soil. Matt and Michelle were happy with the outcome and were amazed at how quick the work was completed!
