Sunken Driveway in Hutchinson, MN

Wayne F. in Hutchinson started to notice a bump each time he drove in and out of his garage. He realized that his driveway had started to sink where it meets the garage. This was frustrating for him, so he wanted to find an affordable way to fix this. He started to research concrete repair contractors and came across American Waterworks.

He was interested to learn more about our PolyLevel foam concrete repair solution. He set an appointment to meet with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, to receive a free estimate. Shane assured him that our PolyLevel option is faster and more affordable than traditional concrete repair, so Wayne set a date to have the PolyLevel injected.

Our PolyLevel expert drilled penny-sized holes into the concrete slabs to inject the foam and raise the concrete. The process was non-invasive and only took a couple of hours. Wayne was able to see the transformation almost right away because the PolyLevel foam only takes about 30 minutes to cure. Wayne is glad he chose American Waterworks to raise his driveway in a more efficient and affordable way.

Concrete Repair Contractor in Hutchinson, MN

Brian L. of Hitchinson, MN had a sinking sidewalk and front porch, and he wanted to get it repaired by a professional. He knew of Shane Nephew at American Waterworks, so he scheduled a FREE estimate with him. Shane went to his house, carefully inspected his sinking concrete, and proposed a solution that would fit his needs and budget. Brian was confident in Shane's approach and presentation, so he went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman, Dylon Mish, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise and stabilize the surface. This unique foam insulation is designed to fill the voids underneath the concrete that are caused by soil erosion. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to seal them and give the concrete a clean, neat finished look. This sealant also prevents moisture from seeping underneath the slab, which causes that soil erosion. Brian was happy with the work that was done and his expectations were met!

Uneven Concrete Walkway Gets a Lift in Mankato, MN

A Mankato, MN, homeowner got in touch with us after she took a tumble over a piece of uneven concrete. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt, so she signed up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home.

Once our Design Specialist finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. He explained that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion and to slowly return the concrete slabs to their original resting place. Our Design Specialist went on to say that once our team had finished the lift, they would install our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to protect the soil below from unwanted moisture. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, and his team completed the lift and seal with no issues. Now our customers can have guests over without worrying they'll take a tumble!
