Greg H. in West Concord, MN noticed that his garage wall was pulling away from his home and it had created about a half inch gap between his house and the garage. He started looking into foundation repair options and he came across the American Waterworks website. Our production team started the installation by securing brackets into the garage floor as well as the rim joists. Then, they installed the PowerBraces into the brackets and tightened them as far as they could go. We were called out to West Concord, MN, by a homeowner who was experiencing his basement foundation caving in on itself, creating an unstable foundation. Our Design Specialist, Mac, went out to the property to see what could be done and recommended the customer invest in our PowerBrace system, which works to correct the crumbling foundation over a period of time, ensuring that the wall gets continuous support and reinforcement. The earth anchor is then placed and attached to the interior wall. Both anchors are connected by a small steel pole that runs through the ground. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
