Porch Pillar Lifting in Dayton, Ohio
This home in Dayton, OH, was going on the housing market, but the seller wanted to fix their sinking porch problem first. The seller had their project manager contact our Real Estate Specialist, Donny, to figure out a solution. Donny drew up a relatively simply plan - we would stabilize the sinking pillar with two helical piers, and then try and lift the pillar back up with our hydraulics. As you can see, we achieved a pretty good lift, and we were able to close the gap between the concrete pillar and the porch slab. We then covered the piers, (that are latched underneath the porch footer and reach deep into load-bearing strata) with soil, leaving the system completely concealed. Now the seller can sell the home for more - thanks to the lifetime-of-structure, free-transferable warranty for this pier system. Click here to read what the seller said about our crew.
Sagging Floors Repair in Cincinnati, OH
The main beam in the ceiling of this basement had become warped from excessive use. To add extra support and to stop the floors from sagging from the floor above, we installed SmartJacks and a supplemental beam across the main beam. The result was a success.
Foundation Repair Company in Batavia, Ohio
The outside brick on this home was cracking in a stair-step pattern. This happens when a house settles because the first place to crack is the weakest point in the structure. In this case, the mortar between the brick was the weakest link, so it was the first sign to show. We stabilized the sinking foundation by lifting the house back with our helical pier system. If you see cracking like this with your home, be sure to give us a call so we can give a free & honest diagnosis.
Basement Wall Repair System in Owensville, Ohio
This basement wall in Owensville, OH, had started to bow inward due to hydrostatic pressure pushing against it from the outside soil. The movement was beginning to cause cracks and visible staining along the surface. To permanently stabilize the wall, we installed our PowerBrace Wall Repair System, which uses heavy-duty steel beams to support and gradually straighten the wall over time. We also finished the project by installing BrightWall panels behind the PowerBraces to cover the stained concrete, giving the basement a clean, bright appearance while protecting it from future moisture issues.
Carbon Fiber Strap Reinforcements for Bowed Basement Wall in Morrow, OH
Our CarbonArmor wall repair system is a strong yet minimally invasive solution for foundation walls beginning to bow inward. In this Morrow, OH basement, we started by grinding the wall to create a clean, rough surface for proper adhesion. A layer of epoxy resin was then applied, followed by the installation of carbon fiber straps for reinforcement. Another coat of epoxy secured the straps firmly in place. Each strap was then anchored to the rim joist using our ArmorLock system, which connects the carbon fiber to a heavy-duty steel bracket for added stability. The result is a permanent, low-profile repair that strengthens the wall and prevents further movement.
