Basement Egress Window Installation in Miamisburg, Ohio

This homeowner wanted an egress window installed because they were planning on building a bedroom in their basement for their kid to live in. You can see just how big the window is thanks to our team member standing in the well, making final adjustments.

Sump Pump Replacement in Miamisburg, Ohio

This homeowner called us for help because their sump pump was constantly running, but seemingly not pumping any water out. We sent one of our inspectors out for free to give a diagnosis. Our inspector confirmed that their pump had a corroded switch and was wasting energy like crazy. The homeowner told us that the company who installed it was bought out, and so no one could repair it for him. After explaining that we have been in business for over thirty-eight years and that our sump pumps are top tier, the homeowner wanted one of our sump pumps. We replaced their old sump pump with one of ours, and the homeowner was very happy to know that they can depend on us for the future.

Leaky Windows Repair in Maineville, Ohio

This homeowner had two egress windows installed by another company in their basement, and these windows began to leak shortly after they were installed, (as evidence by the towels all over the floor in the before picture.) The dry wall became damaged and musty, so we suggested that we install a drainage system and we replace the wet drywall with our EverLast moisture proof panels. We first started by carefully cutting the drywall so we could install our drainage system. Our drainage system included of two WellDuct drains in the two egress windows, WaterGuard subfloor drains, and a SuperSump sump pump attached with our UltraSump battery backup system. This system will make sure water doesn't build up near the leaky windows. We then replaced the drywall we took out with our EverLast wall panels. Our EverLast wall panels are made of a vinyl material, and won't grow mold or get damaged from moisture. They also tuck into the drainage system, and they look great next to any type of wall. This job teaches a valuable lesson, if you are going to get egress windows installed, make sure its a company who understands how waterproofing works like us. Be sure to read the attached case study at the bottom to learn about another similar job that almost led to devastating consequences.

Wet Basement Repair in Maineville, Ohio

This poured foundation basement in Maineville, OH, was leaking & had bowed in walls. We waterproofed the leaky basement by installing Our WaterGuard subfloor drains around the perimeter and connecting them to a sump pump we installed. We then covered the leaky walls with our BrightWall panels which will help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drainage system. Our BrightWall panels also are made of an inorganic material so that they won't grow mold or get damaged from moisture. We then repaired the bowing walls by installing our steel PowerBraces, which are coated in zinc to prevent rusting. They also have a special design that allows them to dissipate the weight of the wall evenly across the floor joists and the concrete floor, preventing damage to either. They can also straighten walls back out in certain situations. The result of the job is a clean, dry, structurally sound basement.

Basement Waterproofing Installation in New Richmond, Ohio

This house that we set out to waterproof was built in 1937 and had a block wall foundation. The relatively new owners of the home loved everything about the house, except for the fact that it leaked water every time it rained. In the before picture, you can actually see the damp spot on the floor closest to the wall. To waterproof it, we installed WaterGuard drains all around the interior perimeter of the basement, a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and BrightWall paneling to give the walls a nice clean look. The homeowners won't have to worry about musty smells everytime it rains anymore.
