This crawl space renovation project in Lebanon, OH we completed in December of 2024 displays just how dramatic of a change a proper crawl space encapsulation job can be. The existing crawl space had a thin layer of plastic on the floor of the crawl space, and as we all know, it did not do good enough of a job to keep moisture out. We started this project by installing a waterproofing system powered by underground perforated pipes, our SmartSump sump pump, and a battery backup system. We then separated the crawl space away from the earth by installing our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier all across the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. Next, we installed our dehumidification system, which is completely automatic and energy efficient. We finished the project by replacing their existing access door with our Turtl door, which is air-tight. The result is a completely dry crawl space and a couple of happy homeowners. 

We encapsulated this crawl space in Goshen, OH, so that the homeowners can have a healthier home that will help them save money on energy, breathe better quality air, and prevent future costly repairs. We encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace liner, which is 20 mils thick and very flexible. The CleanSpace is antimicrobial, and won't grow mold. It will also help keep out moisture. We also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in order to keep this treated space as dry as we want it to be. With an automatic sensor, this dehumidifier is capable of removing up to 100 pints of water out of the air in a day. The result of this encapsulation is a new crawl space feel, even when living above it. 

This wet crawl space in Hamersville, OH, was giving the homeowners a whole list of problems including; Unhealthy air, sagging joists, poor insulation, etc... We repaired the crawl space by tearing out all the insulation and debris, installing our drainage matting across the entire floor, spraying anabec disinfectant all over the wood, spraying foam insulation all over the band/rim joist, installing five SmartJack posts under the main beam, installing our SilverGlo insulation panels all over the walls, installing a Turtl access door, installing a SmartSump sump pump, installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and installing our white CleanSpace vapor barrier over everything. The result was a happy couple who can now save money on energy costs, breathe healthy air, and save money on costly repairs.
