Concrete leveling in Milton, Ontario

A couple in Milton, Ontario, had been dealing with sunken concrete for some time and had a few close calls of tripping over the broken slabs. If ever having guests over, they had to make sure they were aware of the concrete when entering the home, which caused them lots of stress as they did not want to be responsible for an injury that could have been avoided.

They called Canadian Concrete Leveling, where our team went in with our most standard and practical approach. First, they went in with our PolyLevel® polyurethane injection that is non-invasive as it is applicated through small, dime-sized holes drilled through the concrete. Once injected, it takes approximately 30 minutes to cure. Next, NexusPro® was applicated to seal the broken concrete slabs together. This strong bond is reliable against UV rays, and water infiltration is flexible and proven to last over 20 years.

The couple was thrilled at the finished look when the job was completed and felt a massive weight lifted off their shoulders thanks to our team at Canadian Concrete Leveling!

Pooling Water Caused by Sinking Concrete Hinders Garage Use in Caledon, Ontario

Whether you use your garage for storing belongings you only see once every decade, or as a man cave style retreat for the weekends, it’s a part of your home you should be able to access with ease.

For a customer in Caledon, Ontario, easy access was the last thing he thought about when going into his garage. Over the years, his patio had sunk in front of the garage entrance, causing water to pool. When winter came around, the water froze, becoming an even bigger hassle as well as a severe tripping hazard.

Luckily for him, Project Manager CJ Sharp was able to offer the perfect solution to make his garage easy to get to again. At first unfamiliar with our methods, we showed him how our products work to level concrete, and a date was set up for our team to repair the hazard.

Foreman Bill McKeown used our PolyLevel® Injection System to lift the concrete and fill any voids beneath that may have formed over time. Our high-density polymer injections are environmentally friendly and less invasive than traditional methods. Bill also worked to ensure the concrete patio sloped away from the garage door, ensuring water would no longer pool there.

The customer is happy knowing his concrete is lifted and stable. Water will no longer pool in front of the door, removing the tripping hazard and giving him easy access to his garage.

Concrete Slab Under Gazebo Becomes Uneven, Binbrook, ON

This family home in Binbrook, Ontario, had a new gazebo put in their backyard for family dinners and to entertain their guests in the summer. Unfortunately, not long after it was built, they discovered that the concrete below was sinking making the homeowners concerned for the gazebo’s stability.

Installation Specialist Kyle McKeown and his team used our PolyLevel® Polyurethane injection system to bring the slope of the concrete back to its original height. This allowed the family to get back to enjoying their new gazebo within hours of installation! They were so pleased with how easy of a fix-it was, and they did not have to put a dent in their bank accounts to replace the concrete.

PolyLevel® for Basement Window, Sloped Driveway, Burlington, ON

Our client in Burlington, Ontario, had a driveway that was a tripping and water pooling hazard. This driveway was bowing toward the house, causing a hazardous lip when entering the front entrance and exposing the home’s foundation. The sloping also left the basement door vulnerable since the foundation underneath the windowsill was exposed too. As a result, the whole side of the house was essentially susceptible to water. This problem had to be fixed as soon as possible to avoid intense foundation repairs. With the help of Project Manager Danny Dos Santos giving schematics and a plan, and Installation Supervisor Bill McKeown, the problematic driveway was fixed in under 15 minutes, thanks to our PolyLevel®!

Tripping Hazard Outside of Insurance Brokerage in Burlington, Ontario

Insurance brokers know better than anyone the severity of a tripping hazard at a business. They deal with these types of claims every day, so they understand the issues that can come from uneven concrete.

A general contractor in Burlington, Ontario, had recently remodelled his insurance broker’s office. The broker had been dealing with a tripping hazard caused by settled concrete that he wanted dealt with.

The contractor reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling looking for a solution and met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul showed them our techniques and solutions, and a date was set for the repair.
