Basement Waterproofing in Wet Long Creek, SC
One of the most popular products for our crews to install is WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a basement drain that keeps water that is soaking through the basement walls, from getting to the floor. The WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement and collects the water before it can get to the floor to sit and evaporate. This is what we installed in this home, as well as a SuperSump pump system.
The "before" photo shows an area in the basement without any products having been installed. You can see a few spots throughout the picture, mainly on the wall, where you can see the areas that water has come through. The most obvious area is in the middle of the picture, to the left of the black pipe. This is never a good sign because it means that water is making its way into your home, and could eventually cause problems with your home, and even your health.
The "after" photo shows what the basement looked like after our crew came in and installed the products for the homeowner. While there is not actually much to see, the system that was installed does a fantastic job at keeping the basement dry. The water is collected in the WaterGuard which drains the water to the sump pump, which then pumps the water outside.
Monster Crawlspace turned New, Toccoa GA
Have you ever been sitting in your home late at night and heard a strange noise? Typically humans react with fear to things that lurk in the dark. Under your home might be scary, but you remind yourself that nothing is there. In this Toccoa home, the crawlspace actually was something to be scared of. This crawlspace was the equivalent of children fearing the monsters under the bed. But there is no need to fear because our All-Dry of the Carolinas team is the nightlight of crawlspaces.
When our team arrived at the home the crawlspace was in ruin. The floor was covered with an old muddy liner that collected had water. Insulation hung from the ceiling, the foundation had begun to deteriorate, and even the crawlspace door was falling apart. There was even evidence of wildlife that littered the entire crawlspace.
But the All-Dry of the Carolinas team knew exactly what to do. After cleaning out all rocks, trash, insulation and animal nests, our team installed a drainage system and SuperSump Pump. This system was then covered with a drainage mat and CleanSpace Liner. Smart Jacks were installed in the ground to give the house a steadier foundation. Then after the crawlspace was picture perfect an EverLast door was installed. This project started off as a nightmare but with the help of All-Dry of the Carolinas it was able to be saved.
Damp Basement in Maggie Valley, NC Gets WaterGuard and BrightWall
This basement was having some problems with water intrusion around the floor/wall joints. This is a pretty common issue in basements, because it is a "weak" spot in the construction of the home. As you can see, this basement was not in the best shape, which was something that the homeowner also wanted to take care of, while we were fixing the water intrusion issue.
To help this homeowner out and solve both of their problems simultaneously, we used three products; WaterGuard Drain, BrightWall Paneling, and a SuperSump pump. These three products together provide a very good defense against water intrusion in the home. They work hand-in-hand to prevent the water from staying in the basement, by pumping it out as quickly as possible.
The crew started this project by excavating the area around the perimeter of the basement, as well as an area for the SuperSump. Once a trench was dug out around the basement, the crew began installing the WaterGuard drain, which is one of the main parts of the system. The WaterGuard is what actually catches the water and drains it to the sump pump, where it can be pumped out and away from the home. Last, but not least the BrightWall panels were installed. This not only helps to keep the water in and drained to the WaterGuard, but also makes the walls of the basement look better. They help to give the basement a more "finished" look, without the price tag of finishing a basement.

Our crew installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system in this basement, located in Carnesville, GA.
TrenchDrain Installation in Eastanollee, GA
The home was having issues with water getting into the basement, which was causing the homeowner a lot of headaches. One of the main places that the water was getting into the basement from was the door leading into the basement. This is a pretty common issue that homeowners have and we often have to put a TrenchDrain in front of the doors, which is exactly what the case was with this basement.
In the "before" picture you can see the open door where a lot of the water was getting into the basement. The door wasn't getting a proper seal, and since it was below the ground level, the water was easily getting into the basement. While there were other areas in the basement with water intrusion issues, this one was the most severe and caused the most problems during heavy rains.
The "after" photo showed how we were able to help out with the problem. Although it may look like we only put a small drain in, we actually did more than that and it's harder to notice if you weren't paying attention to the first photo. Our crew actually took out that last concrete step and graded the yard in front of the door. That by itself is a pretty significant improvement because now the water doesn't have a path to run directly to the door to pour down on it. The other thing we did though was the TrenchDrain. This drain goes right in front of the door so that any water that does actually get into the basement is immediately caught and drains to the sump pump.
