Vechicle Traffic Drain installed in Waynesville, NC
All-Dry of the Carolinas doesn’t always just work in basements and crawlspaces. Whenever water is becoming a problem for any part of your home, we more than likely have the drainage system that can help you!
Nothing is more annoying than living on a hill and having to deal with a stream of water when it rains. In this case, water would flow down the hill and into the garage. No one wants water puddling in their garage, especially since it is supposed to be a dry zone. To fix this problem our All-Dry team inserted a vehicle traffic drain. In usual cases, the vehicle traffic drain would be placed inside the garage door to prevent freezing. The drain would then lead to the SumpPump where it would flush out the water. This case is different than others, but its purpose of draining still works the same.
Basement Waterproofing in Clyde, NC
This homeowner noticed a problem when he saw that water was slowly seeping into his finished basement. This is a killer when it comes to water intrusion. Sometimes a home may just have a flood of water when it rains, but this isn't the standard. Often, water intrusion and later water damage/mold problems come from a slow leak or seeping, because it is much less noticeable than a "river" flowing under your home. This is what began happening to this customer.
The "before" picture shows the area before the Waterguard was installed. While you can't see water in this photo, this was one of the main areas where water was seeping through the block wall.
The "after" photo shows off the same area, but with the Waterguard drain system installed. While the Waterguard does not prevent water from seeping through the wall, it does reroute the water to the sump pump. This prevents water from simply sitting and soaking into the floor, wall, or even the drywall. This is especially important to the drywall since mold can and will start to grow on the organic materials in the drywall.
Clyde, NC Homeowner Gets New SuperSump Pump and Waterproofing System
This homeowner knew of their water intrusion issues way before they called us, but they didn't realize that there was an effective way to stop the water. The homeowner already had a sump pump in their basement, but it could only do so much by itself. The homeowner knew this and when they saw one of our TV commercials, they knew exactly who could help fix these problems.
When our Systems Design Specialist went out to the home, he knew that this homeowner was going to need a little bit more than just a sump pump, which was the only thing the homeowner had at the time. Our Specialist was able to quote a full basement waterproofing project for the homeowner, so that they wouldn't have to worry about any further damage to the home.
The crew was then able to go out to the home and install the system just a few weeks later. All in all the homeowner had WaterGuard, a dehumidifier, and a SuperSump system installed in the basement, but we'll be focusing on the sump pump. As you can see, the sump pump that was installed in this basement is much different than the previous one. Our sump systems come with a liner that is airtight on top, meaning that no moisture will come out of the top. It also has a convenient area for the dehumidifier to drain to, which is what you can see in the after photo.
Walhalla, SC Has WaterGuard Installed
This property contacted All-Dry of the Carolinas because they were experiencing moisture issues. Water was leaking into the basement from the foundation base. Pictured in the before photo, we have the space before the install.
If we look at the same space in the after photo, we see that object gone. It’s replaced by a strip of wet cement. This cement is actually covering where the WaterGuard was inserted. Once it dries, the cement will blend in with the floor and the only clue that something is there will be absence of water in the basement. This system is one of the best in the business and customers are usually pleased with its results.
Basement Waterproofing in Lavonia, GA
This home in Lavonia had a lot of water coming through this basement wall, which was starting to cause problems for the homeowner. She noticed the soaked wall after awhile, not thinking much of it for awhile, but when the water continued to soak through she called All-Dry of the Carolinas to come out and figure out exactly what the problem was.
The "before" photo shows the wall that was in question. The water that was soaking through is very obvious in this picture. As you can see, about a foot or two from the corner on each side is soaked through the wall. This can cause pretty serious issues through the growth of mold or mildew on the wood or insulation in the basement.
The "after" picture shows the same area after all of the work was done in the basement. The first thing that you may notice in the picture is the sump pump. The one that was installed in this home was a SuperSump pump system. It can pump out over 2,000 gallons an hour. Another big change is the BrightWall panels which are covering the entire wall that had been there before. The biggest thing that this paneling does is to help move the water coming through the wall to the WaterGuard. Which leads us to the product that you can't see, the WaterGuard drain. This drain is under the concrete but is extremely important because it is what gets the water to the sump pump.
