Rosman, NC Basement Waterproofing

We get to see a lot of basements in our line of work (who would've known!), and while this one doesn't seem like it is in that bad of condition, it was having some water intrusion issues. It was severe enough that rather than only installing WaterGuard, we had our crew also install CleanSpace wall, which catches more water along the wall.

The "before" picture shows what the basement looked like before the products were installed in the home's basement. Again, although it does not look too bad, at times there was pretty severe water intrusion, so the homeowner wanted to make sure that they would be protected. This was even more important to the homeowner because they used their basement quite often. This is definitely a decision that the homeowner will not regret, as they will pretty much never have to worry about water in their basement again. With an annual visit from our Service Technician, they can make extra sure that everything is running properly!

The "after" photo shows the same area but with all of our products installed. The first thing that you probably notice in the picture is the CleanSpace, which is the white material that covers most of the basement wall. This is definitely an important part of the system because it helps to collect any water that comes through the basement wall. However, the real difference is made through the next two products; the WaterGuard and SuperSump pump. The WaterGuard is actually in the floor, so it can't be seen, however, it runs along the perimeter of the basement and collects all of the water that runs down the CleanSpace. The water then drains down to the sump pump, where it is pumped outside to an area where there is no risk of the water coming back towards the home.

Water Intrusion in Bowman, GA Basement is Taken Care of with WaterGuard Drain

Since basements are below ground level, they are much more vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. This is an unfortunate reality, but it is reality nonetheless. This particular basement was having most of its water intrusion around the joint between the floor and wall. This is an extremely common issue in basements, as it is one of the weaker areas, making it easier for water to slip through.

You can see where quite a lot of water has accumulated around the base of the wall in the before photo. In this photo, it is dry at the moment, but the water/dripping streaks are extremely obvious in the photo. Towards the left side of the photo you can see even damage in the joint along the wall. This homeowner needed to get this taken care of, which is why he gave us a call.

The solution for this home's water intrusion was to install our WaterGuard drain, which helps to catch water and quickly drain it to the sump pump, which pumps the water out and away from the home. While it may not seem like much, this low-profile solution not only doesn't take up much space, but is extremely effective at preventing water from staying in the basement.

WaterGuard Installed in Sunset, SC Basement with High Humidity

This basement was having some issues with the relative humidity level. It was much higher than it should have been, which gives mold a chance to grow on any organic surface in the basement. The was potentially a pretty serious issue, as mold can cause health problems if left unchecked. Fortunately, this homeowner caught the problem quick enough that no mold had grown.

The "before" picture shows what this area in the basement looked like before the system was installed. The main part of this photo that we want to focus on is the wet spot to the left of the brick. The problem with water intrusion is that it is not always visible, and even when it is, sometimes it is not even that noticeable. However, having that water there shows that there is water intrusion around that area.

The "after" photo shows the area with the WaterGuard already installed. This system will help to keep water from just sitting in the basement and evaporating, increasing the relative humidity level. The WaterGuard leaves a small gap in between the wall to catch any water that soaks through the wall. This systems has helped this homeowner to have a safer, cleaner, and healthier basement.

WaterGuard Basement Drain Installed to Drain Candler, NC Basement

This basement in Candler, North Carolina had a lot of water intrusion. The homeowner was not happy with this water and wanted to do something about it, so they called All-Dry of the Carolinas. Water in a basement can cause a lot of problems, not just with your home, but with your personal health as well. It's a good thing this homeowner called before things got serious. If water is left sitting, it often causes mold and mildew to form, which is never a good thing and can seriously affect your health.

The "before" picture shows the area right around the basement stairs. You can actually see where the water has been by the left over dirt and clay. This was one of the main problem areas for this basement and it needed a solution badly.

The "after" photo shows off the solution, Waterguard. You can see where the Waterguard was installed,t he dark area of concrete is the wet concrete that is laid over the Waterguard drain. Any water that gets through the walls, is quickly drained to the sump pump and pumped out of the basement, to somewhere in the yard where the water will not drain back into the basement.

Candler, NC Home Needs Traffic Drain for a Unique Water Issue

We pride ourselves on crafting solutions for customers with unique water issues. This Candler, North Carolina homeowner wanted to have a way to trap the water tracked in by the inhabitants of the home. This meant installing a contraption that could easily fit into the owner daily lives without much hullabaloo. That prompted our Design Specialist, David Listovitch, to recommend a traffic drain. That is the insert you find at the foot of the door in the “after” photo.

It has little slits that allow water into it, but it is also connected to a WaterGuard piping system that directs that water away.

It’s a great system that works seamlessly. After the cement dries, the floor can be recovered (leaving the traffic drain exposed) and no one will be the wiser. The only hint you will have that something has changed is the absence of water in the entryway. If that's not a job well done, we don't know what is.
