Susan L. been noticing several cracks in her walls. She called another contractor who noticed the foundation was beginning to sag. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions to help. Our System Designer met with her, providing a free estimate for SmartJack® Crawl Space Stabilizers. These are an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. They not only provide supplemental support, but can often lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position. Now this homeowner can confidently walk in her kitchen without feeling like she will fall through the floor!

This customer noticed severe stair step cracking on their foundation wall, concerned about the stability and safety of their home, they reached out to Fortress for an expert opinion. We sent one of our expert system designers out to take a look and they found that this home was suffering from some severe foundation settlement. The footer had broken under the home causing one side of the home to settle. We recommended our Push Pier system to stabilize the foundation from further settlement.

This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions with wall that was drastically slanting. Fortress solved this problem by installing a series of GeoLocks to ensure that the wall would always be straight.

Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a series of PowerBraces to prevent further bowing in this customer's foundation walls. Over time, the braces are tightened, and will straighten the bowing wall.

These homeowners in Hillsville, VA noticed a few concerning issues with their home. After rain water was making its way thought the foundation of the home. The foundation walls also began to bow inward and crack. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions our System Designer was able to visit with the homeowners and provide a free estimate for a solution. 

The System Designer suggested our PowerBrace System to help stabilize the bowing wall, and our WaterGuard System to prevent the basement from getting anymore water. Our Forman and his crew installed both of these systems for these Hillsville residents. The final result was a dry basement and a stabilized foundation!
