The Fortress crew came today to do a crawlspace encapsulation for radon mitigation. They arrived a little earlier than the promised time. The crew chief, Gustavo was very polite and professional. Along with Luis, Jorge, and Daniel they finished the job ahead of schedule and with excellent quality. They also cleaned the area well. Great crew and good company. Additionally the system designer, Skylar Beverage, came right on time for the initial assessment and provided us with a carefully calculated cost estimate at the end of his visit. Skylar knew we had a very serious time constraint and tried hard and succeeded in meeting our timing needs beyond expectations. Bravo.

I hired Fortress Foundation Solutions to add support beams, support cellar and for crawl space encapsulation. Matt commutated to me what need to be done for my house to pass Maryland inspection and he suggested encapsulation which could be done a later time. But I went ahead got it all done at once.and I'm glad I did. He also answered all my questions about permits and explained the whole process. Gus and his crew did an excellent job transforming my old crawl into looking band new with update supports. I couldn't be happyier with results and communication. I highly recommend them

Fortress Foundation came to address leakage in encapsulated sheeting. Cody and Rashad listened to our description, diagnosed the issue, and made the repairs. They also patiently explained what they did to address the issue and provided information on what to look for to prevent further issues.

I am very pleased with my experience with Fortress Foundation Solutions. From Eddie (the system designer) to Nick (job foreman), Dante and Jarred (the crew), as well as Josh (electrician). Every step of the way, they were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable in what needed to be done to my crawl space.They didn't just do the minimums of their job, they went above and beyond by explaining what they were doing and answering any questions. As they worked, they let me know they found a leak in one of the condensation lines for my HVAC unit, so I could contact that company to have it repaired.When the HVAC repair man came, he commented on what a great job the Fortress crew had done. He said his work takes him into all kinds of crawlspaces and every crawlspace he has been in that Fortress has done have been excellent and has helped his customers with their heating and cooling as well as making the air quality of the home so much better.Another man who works in telecommunications and goes to all kinds of job sites, when he went in the crawlspace, he too commented on a job well done and was very impressed.When the county inspector came for the final inspection, he too commented on what a great job they had done. My crawlspace and encapsulation was completed today. Kevin, Ant, Dakota and Nate showed up yesterday as scheduled. The rain and cold showed up about the same time, but it didn’t seem to matter. They worked quickly and efficiently. The electrical team, Larry and Josh, were in and out so fast I almost missed them. For the brief moments, they needed to be in the house they always took their shoes off ( even when I said it wasn’t necessary). Everyone on the team was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. The resulting work was incredible. I wish I had taken some before photos. It’s hard to believe the difference.When choosing a company to do this, I had no experience or frame of reference. I made my choice based on the recommendation of a friend. I would make the same recommendation to anybody.

Nathan, and his crew Dakota, Anthony and Jamal, came out and did a stellar job! Previous owners to the house had covered the interior entrance to the crawlspace, and since the house as built prior to codes in the 1970s, a lot of their job ended up being “let’s open it up and see!” They were so flexible and able to adapt to what we thought the project would be to make it truly sealed off and enclosed. Super respective, helpful, and they knew what they were doing! Would recommend them every time! Check out the before and after pictures!

The underside of my house was absolutely gross and some spots had 2"of clearance. Being my first home, I was having a hell of a time figuring out how to get it workable and dry. We called Fortress Foundations as one of our options. The price we were quoted was daunting, but better than the competition. When we were ready, we scheduled an encapsulation with partial drainage and dehumidifying for the bad half of our crawlspace. Dakota W, Anthony, Jamal, and Foreman Nathan Owen came out and solved the issue. Even with awful weather and tons of mud, they were professional, positive, and productive. In just two days, a swamp turned into a clean, dry space for me to work in while we finally address the other issues under our house. Thanks to these guys, what used to be a stressful chore under the house is now barely an inconvenience. I'd be happy to see these guys again for future projects.
