In Stevens Point, WI, a homeowner noticed a basement wall beginning to bow inward, with a long horizontal crack forming through the center of the block. As Portage County’s clay-heavy soils absorbed moisture, lateral pressure increased and forced the wall inward—especially during spring thaw. After:

Each steel beam was precision-positioned, laser-aligned, and anchored at the floor and the sill area, then torque-adjusted to apply corrective pressure. The system now holds the wall secure with the potential for gradual, controlled straightening over time.

In the before photo from Stevens Point, WI, you'll notice a severely settled and cracked concrete driveway slab.
