Why Foundation & Concrete Repair in Indiana is Important
With so many things in life to think about, a slowly failing foundation can find itself on the bottom of most homeowner's "to-do" lists. But, when a home is experiencing foundation settlement or has bowing, buckling foundation walls, the home needs some immediate attention. During droughts and even the very wet periods, foundations can become damaged from shifting soil or from increased stress from expansive clay soils, which develop cracks in the walls and floors. Windows can jam, chimneys can tilt, and the floors can become uneven. But, these foundation problems are often just the beginning! If a foundation problem is ignored for too long, it can become much more serious and may even lead to the complete failure of the foundation.

Project Location: Aurora, IN 47001
Comment: I have a covered back porch that is 17'-4" x 13'-10". Two sides of the concrete sit on a foundation. the other to sides are against the house walls. Angle iron was to be bolted to the foundation so these two sides were resting on something solid other than pee gravel fill. This was not done, therefore the interior corner where the two sides against the house meet has sunk approximately 2". Therefore all water that hits the top of the slab runs toward the has and between the slab and band board (rim joist) of the house. Would like to have this jacked up to slope away from the house.
