Before and after the installation of a new sump pump in Millbury, MA.

A homeowner in Millbury, MA contacted us to replace his old sump pump. His existing pump was already there before he bought the house, so it was getting outdated. There was pooling water which was a clear sign that the sump pump wasn't up to standards. The replacement we gave him was our SuperSump plus system. Now, his days with a terrible sump pump are officially over! 

This homeowner in Millbury, MA gave us a call looking for waterproofing and structural support for their basement. Our inspector, Benny, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a solution for both the basement's water and structural issues. To waterproof, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter. They also set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement to control humidity. The water collected in the drainage system and dehumidifier is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever clogs or freezes. For the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizers to add support to the home's foundation. SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that can be adjusted to lift a sloping floor. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about water or structural issues in their basement!

WaterGuard is the drainage system DryZone uses around the perimeter of the basement to stop water from entering through the floor/wall seam. This property in Westerly, RI needed the WaterGuard installed right where the basement stairs were! We came in and removed the lower stair treads to install the WaterGuard system and put them right back when we were done!
