Sinking Concrete Leaves Older Customer Worried in Caledon, Ontario
There are times when keeping our home safe requires extra help. We want to be able to repair everything ourselves. In most cases, doing it yourself is out of the question.
An elderly homeowner in Caledon, Ontario, realized her front steps were sinking. She was extremely worried the steps were becoming a dangerous trip hazard for her and visitors that would drop by. She knew she needed to call a professional company to fix the steps correctly but had no idea who to call.
After seeing one of our videos on Instagram, the homeowner decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling. She met with Project Manager Joe McColl. He inspected the concrete steps and explained how our PolyLevel® System could lift and level them within a matter of a couple of hours. Feeling more at ease about finally getting the steps fixed, she got excited for the day the crew would arrive. She would be able to watch the work in progress!
Foreman Kyle McKeown drilled dime-sized holes in the bottom portion of the steps for the injection ports. As Kyle pumped our PolyLevel® product under the concrete, the homeowner watched the steps lift right in front of her eyes. Once the steps were level, Kyle patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The homeowner is thrilled the steps were safe to use again. She is so thankful for all of the hard work Joe and Kyle performed on her behalf. Watching the crew in action gave her complete peace of mind – she knew she wouldn’t have to worry about tripping on them anymore.
