Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system made to prevent water clogs and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which prevents water from seeping in through the walls and keeps away mold and humidity. Lastly, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump which discharges the water out of the home away from the foundation. Our Foreman, Luis, and his crew were assigned to complete this project, so they traveled to the home. After they arrived, the crew started by removing the old sump pump from the home. After the old sump pump was removed, the crew installed the TripleSafe sump pump as a replacement. Additionally, the crew installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. The crew completed the project, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know they have the best sump pump in their basement. A homeowner from Zumbrota, MN, had recently learned about the dangers of radon gas and the hazards it poses to a household. He was afraid that his loved ones were being exposed to this hazardous gas, so he decided to find a radon mitigation specialist in Minnesota. After finding our website, he looked through our radon gas mitigation pictures and decided to claim his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, was headed out to the home. 

When Mac arrived, he discovered that the homeowner had conducted an at-home radon test, which indicated higher-than-normal levels. So, Mac began his process by scouting out the best location for a mitigation system. When he was finished, he met with the homeowner. He began by saying that the homeowner was right to call us, explaining that radon is invisible, odorless, colorless, and tasteless, making it completely undetectable without proper testing. Mac went on to say that because the levels in the home were so high, he recommended a radon mitigation system. He explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner liked the sound of Mac's approach and signed on the spot. 

When the day of the project rolled around, our Foreman, Dakota, led his team through a flawlessly executed radon mitigation system installation.

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor with a jackhammer and formed a trench. In the trench, our team installed 142 feet of our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team applied our CleanSpace Wall System around the wall perimeter, which prevents mold and humidity growth, and it acts as an extra wall protectant. It also gives basements a neat and clean appearance. Then, Hugo and his crew installed 21 of our PowerBraces on the CleanSpace. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls and straighten them out over time. Lastly, our team applied spray foam around the ceiling perimeter to provide extra insulation and to keep heat inside the basement. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Dana and Carol had a remarkable experience from appointment to installation, and their peace of mind has been restored!

Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan. After Ryan arrived at the home, he started his inspection of the basement. Ryan completed the entire basement walk-through and found many waterproofing issues in the basement. After Ryan alerted the homeowner of his findings, he was able to provide them with a solution. Ryan recommended installing several waterproofing products in the basement to protect it from further intrusion. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations and the plans were finalized by the office. Once approved by the office, they were sent to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. Raul and his crew arrived at the home and started by installing WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the previous sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Next, the crew tied the TripleSafe Sump Pump into the WaterGuard system. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
