Comment: My house was built in 1936. A previous owner added a bedroom with a crawl space. I'm adding insullation under the bedroom floor, since its colder in there tham rest of house. I noticed a couple of iffy things on the support beam. Its being held uo by 1 4x4, and one end is resting on a piece of 1x4 with nails. My house was inspected last year before I bought it. But this is questionable to me.
